The Bigfoot Book: The Encyclopedia of Sasquatch, Yeti and Cryptid Primates

Image
Nick Redfern is a prolific writer in the paranormal/supernatural/crypto/UFO genres and he has done an excellent job in a book called The Bigfoot Book: The Encyclopedia of Sasquatch, Yeti and Cryptid Primates . One of his more recent books, published about seven months ago, it covers the Big Guy in an encyclopedic reference. It not only documents Bigfoot, Sasquatch, etc., but many other primate-like cryptids and strange homonids. Below is the description for The Bigfoot Book: The Encyclopedia of Sasquatch, Yeti and Cryptid Primates : "Does a hulking, hairy, 800-pound, nine-foot-tall, elusive primate roam the woods and forests throughout North America—and the world? What should we make of the grainy videos and photos and the thousands of eyewitness reports? Audio-recordings exist purporting to be the creatures’ eerie chatter and bone-chilling screaming. Whether called Sasquatch, Yeti, Bigfoot, or something else, bipedal primates appear in folklore, legends, and eyewitness acc...

ALERT!!! US Government Declaring All Out War on Tiny House Living

PLEASE READ. VERY IMPORTANT FOR MYSELF AND MANY OTHERS! Written by Isaac Davis, Staff Waking Times Freedom in the United States today is a moving target, and when the government catches wind of an innovation that makes life easier and more affordable for ordinary people, it always steps in to take control. Take, for example, the growing effort to outlaw offgrid living in the U.S., as well as moves by local governments around the country to criminalize private rainwater collection. Now, the federal government is making a major move against the tiny house movement, seeking to give the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) authority to require tiny houses to conform to the standards of recreational vehicles (RV’s), of which one of the rules is that the vehicles may not be used or marketed for permanent living. HUD is seeking to regulate tiny house living out of existence or to turn it into a regulated industry by requiring that tiny homes be manufactured in factorie...

Something In The Woods

Image
While I have not yet been able to watch this movie, Something In The Woods looks to be a Bigfoot movie worth checking out. At first I was slightly disappointed that it was a PG rating expecting it was going to be a horror movie, but then I came to my senses and realized that this is inspired by a true event in the 60's and that most real world Sasquatch encounters aren't R-rated. They might be scary or frightening but usually nobody gets mauled and skewered on a pine tree. So I reevaluated my stance in approaching this movie and now it seems to me that it may portray a highly realistic characterization of a Bigfoot encounter. With that in mind, here's the synopsis provided on SITW website: "An independent feature film  inspired  by true events. The story follows the Hartman family and their dealings with a legendary creature when it begins coming around their farm house deep in the woods in the late 1960s." According to the IMDb, the inspiration for th...

Help BAYFIELD REGIONAL CONSERVANCY INC by Sharing × Facebook Twitter Email Press and hold to copy link In 2011, the Bayfield Regional Conservancy (BRC) was instrumental in the ground-breaking formation of Frog Bay Tribal National Park, the first tribal nation park in the US, and now is excited to announce the Northern Wisconsin Sasquatch Preserve. “We were amazed when a generous landowner came forward with this proposal,” said Conservation Director Erika Lang. “He’d been seeing Northern Redhaired Sasquatch on his land at night for years and wanted to protect them and his forested land into the future.” Dave Phaker has been quietly providing sanctuary to Northern Sasquatch since he bought his land in a remote part of Bayfield County in 1963. “I’d put up a house in ’63 and I noticed right off some interest from the local ‘squatch residents.” For 53 years, Phaker has maintained amiable relations with the local Sasquatch. “I figured if they didn’t bother me, I wouldn’t bother them.” Northe...

To shoot or not to shoot?

I have one question to ask the entire Bigfoot community: When faced with the opportunity, would you choose to shoot to kill a Bigfoot or Sasquatch in order to prove its existence to the world?
